How much is the Reuben? Is it good?

      A:

I've never had the Rueben at Bruno's and don't know how much it is. Their German food is so spot on, I order it every time and just love the Stitzel.

This is my parents favorite restaurant to hit up when they come to town. My mom grew up eating these same foods at her home so she really enjoys them. We have had the pirogies, sausage plate, schnitzel, goulash and sides. My favorite it the German potato salad. It is a little different than my mom makes but is nice and tangy. The spaetzle and schnitzel and also favorites if I want something heavier. I like that they have child portions so we don't have to get just sides or split things for my daughter, although the portions are big enough.

I also like the cheery atmosphere and staff. Everyone seems happy to be here and are very welcoming.

If you're in a hurry, this might not be the place for you.

We've been by a couple of times. The food is consistently delicious.

Kellie was our waitress the first time that we came in, and she took care of the entire place by herself. Today we had Cynthia. Both servers was super friendly and pleasant.

We recommend Bruno's for a good, *leisurely meal.

One of my favorite places to eat in Lakewood. The service is amazing, the staff really get to know you and make you feel welcome every time you come in. The Schnitzel is amazing and a huge portion, and the cucumber salad is refreshing and tangy. The desserts are also amazing, especially the Black Forest cake, which I enjoy because it's really flavorful without being overwhelmingly sweet.

The food and service at Bruno's is outstanding! The wait can be a little long on Fridays but that's how popular it is.

Its a bit out of the way for us and worth every mile. Unassuming place. Simple decor. Focus is on the food and service.

Great server and the choices are soo great it's hard to decide.

We ordered rouladen, and the wurst teller. Hubby said it was the best rouladen he's had outside Germany. The wurst teller was fantastic. Authentic red cabbage and sauerkraut soo good I could have eaten a bucket full.

Potato salad was spot on and the spatzel was simple and didn't overpower the other flavors.

If you love German and/or Polish food this is absolutely the place to go. Next time we're hitting the schnitzel plates!

The place is adorable. Dirndls and Liederhosen are alive in Lakewood. The lunch specials are the best deal around. The food is hearty and high quality and delicious! Do not miss the soups! Clearly a family run place run with pride.

Dropped in on Bruno's on a lark. This was our first time to Bruno's and we weren't disappointed. The server was wonderful. Lu had a cup of pickle soup and I took on the hangover soup for starters. Both were wunderbar! For the main event, Luann had the Jaeger Schnitzel whereas I ordered the Rahm Schnitzel. Though we've had better Jäeger Schnitzel in Germany the flavor was spot on-- though I would have preferred wild mushrooms in the gravy for both dishes. We'll both be back to try some of the Polish options!

Bruno's is easily one of my favorites! First of all, the service is always wonderful. Cindy is the sweetest, she's my girl! Always so happy, remembers my family & I, & she is just such a joy!

They have a wide variety menu - whatever you're in the mood for I'm sure they have it.
Some of my favorites; Jäger schnitzel (you have to try this, the gravy is chef's kiss), schnitzel sandwich is my go to & simply delicious, Potato pancakes w/ apple sauce, Fcurry wurst, & Goulasch soup.
I always get their potato salad instead of french fries & I love the cucumber salad also. My mom loves the liver & also Frikadelle.

They always have delicious cakes to choose from, the black forest & bee sting are my two favs.

The restaurant is always clean, playing good ole German hits, & everyone is just very friendly. Go visit them, you'll love it there!

Amazing food and service. The potato pancakes are a must. We couldn't decide on a Schnitzle so we ordered the three Schnitzle plate, it comes with 3 sides.

We went in on a Thursday evening and it ended up being perfect since the restaurant is usually packed. Service was quick and the waitress was very jolly, I think we impressed her (or frightenined her) with the amount of food we ate. It was all delicious.

      Definitely make room for dessert.
